After a break from exercise, re-motivating yourself to get out there and start exercising again can be really tough. I’m going back to British Military Fitness classes tonight, and I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that the prospect of giving up and slumping in front of the telly was more appealing. According to Fitness First, you should “have an easy week every 4-5 weeks, where you only do half your usual workout”. Now admittedly, it doesn’t go on to say:”And you should probably also go out on the piss every night”, but I’m just going to take that as read.
